AI16016 Aitor Jungle King I Knife

I am very satisfied with my purchase. However, when the knife arrived, it only had what is called a Utility Edge and was not sharp. I for one didn’t mind this at all and actually prefer it. I love putting my own personal edge on a knife and having it sharp in the way that I like.
This knife does sharpen, and I am not sure if it is the high quality steel that is used or what, but it does not sharpen easily, esp when using stones and sharpening by hand. It really takes some time, effort, and what is called Elbow Grease to sharpen this knife. The good this though, is that once it is sharpened, it keeps the edge for just about the duration of the knife. In other words, once you have sharpened this knife, it Stays sharpened, and unless just touching up the edge via running it against the stone once or twice, no more sharpening effort is needed or required. And I think that is the kind of edge that Every knife buyer and owner wants. Therefore, I highly recommend buying this excellent knife!
